Singer , song writer , arranger Maz whose full name is Alfred Maziya has come a long way since he has worked with the likes of Jimmy Dludlu, the late jazz giant George Lee, Pastor Benjamin Dube, Jabu Nkabinde to name but a few. Last year Maz has appeared on a number of gospel TV shows, like gospel gold, gospel time, one gospel and performed with Keke in his show called ‘in his presence’ and was interviewed in a number of gospel radio stations including radio pulpit. Maz moved to Tembisa in the early nineties and formed a boy bands singing in the church, he went on to initiate a community project with a group of young man called reach out and touch focusing on helping those in need. Maz received an award from the giant cellular net work company Vodacom for his contribution to the community in Tembisa in the eastrand.

MISSION | His mission is to continue doing Gods work through his guidance, ministering to all four corners of the world and helping those in need. To ensure that through music and by God’s grace he produces songs of hope, love and healing songs. Do not fear for God has not given us the spirit of fear, but that of love and power.

	The title of his latest work is “Baka ithemba”; this is genuinely a good album that offers meaningful songs which captures your heart from the first listen. It’s all about God’s love for the world and appreciation of the love with good music and beautiful vocals. This is truly a must have album with a touch of soul, R&B and traditional gospel music.
